Google’s new business API:
Google has launched a new business API to manage multiple locations from a single GMB account.
They have rolled out many updates so far to offer quality services to the users and now it has introduced the new API feature for easy local search listing and management.
How easy it is for businesses to enhance the visibility in local searches by using this new Google My Business API?
Listing sites help business owners to list their website in the local search results page to increase their ranking which is the signal for search engine ranking factor. It is obvious that all online businesses now add their business in listing sites due to the increase in local searches. Nowadays 3/4th of the local searches were made from mobile devices and 1 out of 9 searches results in a purchase.
Due to increase in mobile local searches Google has now introduced a new business API. Apart from the normal listing like placing your website in top local search page and displaying single location on the map, Google my business now allows registered users to manage multiple locations from a single account. All you have to do is just edit your contact details in the edit info page of your GMB account.
If you are already registered and have more than 10 business locations, then you can manage your locations by importing a spreadsheet file with all necessary information. If you have less than 10 business locations, then you can just add it easily without any spreadsheet file. You need to follow very easy and simplified steps.
Another important benefit is that after adding the multiple locations, it can be used to manage and edit locations by forming user groups and control the access for teams within the user groups. The registered agencies now have new partner directory and access to new features.
Register and add your website to Google my business list and use all the new features for increasing the visibility in local search. Already registered members can now make use of the new features. Add multiple locations of your business from a single place and reduce the workload of your team by granting access to manage locations from their own business place.
